Grading Common Stamps
Not every stamp collector will agree with me, but the grading of common stamps and selling them for huge premiums, really ticks me off. I believe that it is a terrible practice and is a truly poor investment. Taking a common stamp from the 1940's, 50's, 60's and 70's, and sending it in to be graded a 95 or 100 is truly ridiculous. Mint sheets of these stamps sell for less than face value and most sheets will have a high grade stamp or two in them. Don't be fooled by this deceptive practice.
